Genuine Gauge Cluster Voltage Regulator

Are you having issues with the Gauge Cluster Voltage Regulator? Replacing this voltage regulator can fix the following the issues:

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you might need a new gauge cluster voltage regulator. To test this, just gain access to the back of your gauge cluster. Find the little regulator that looks like the one in the photo. Turn on your multimeter to V – DC 00.00. The symbol looks like this. Connect your multimeter’s ground to the chassis. Turn the vehicle on, but do not start the car. With the positive lead touch each lead on the regulator. The top lead should be 12v, the bottom should read 3.3v, and the middle should be 0v / ground. You can also check the ohm resistance by switching the multi-meter to Ω sign. The voltage on the output lead should read 3.3v ±0.3v max. If it is outside that range, you may need a new gauge cluster voltage regulator.

Installation Notes:

• These regulators come with straight terminals and need to be bent before installation.
• Use a small pair of needle nose pliers to bend the terminals.
• Download and print this file which is a 100% scale guide to bend the terminals.
• When printing this, make sure the selection says “Actual Size”. Make sure it does not say “Fit” or “Shrink Oversized Pages“
