The West Coast Roccos Mk1 Scirocco Partial Tray Lift Rod is one of those really hard to find items that often break.These lift rods list as NLA (no longer available) and can not be purchased new, until now. It was difficult for us to even find the part number for a reference on this product. There is no part number on the item as well. Just a “1” with a circle around it. like this: ①
We manufacture these in house and cast molds from a genuine OEM part. They retain the same exact flexibility and feel as the OEM lift rod. You won’t be able to tell the difference. Even we can not tell a difference between the genuine part and the parts we cast. They are that good.
Typically these missing rods have some janky fix to make them work. Get rid of that garbage and bring your Mk1 Scirocco back to it’s original glory with the proper part.
Partial Trays
We are also working on all the other parts to rebuild your partial tray. Furthermore, we are working on the actual OE looking panels and kits for an exact replica for your Scirocco build or restoration. Even if you have all the parts, the trays are usually bent, warped, cracked or have speakers cut into the tray. Some people don’t like that and it is not the OEM look. Some people don’t mind, so we’ll have option for speakers as well. Stay tuned to our website for further developments on these partial trays and parts.
