Description
Scirocco 16v Brake Check Valve for Vacuum Brake Boosters are Now Available. Restore your Scirocco with this Genuine OES ATE – Non Return 16v Brake Check Valve for your brake booster. This attached between your brake booster and your intake manifold.
It has taken us over a year to find a genuine supplier for this part. There are super hard to find and not cheap, even for us to source. We can only get a few at a time due to rarity and the cost to keep these in stock. Luckly, we have them. If we have none in stock, you can still order. However, it may take 2 additional weeks to get back in stock.
In conjunction with a new Vacuum Check Valve, it will improve / restore your vacuum system. These are used to keep the vacuum retained in the brake vacuum system until vacuum is needed. Even with the engine off. Overtime these will wear out and stop holding pressure.
How to diagnose your 16v Brake Booster Check Valve
To check these valves, Check with a vacuum testing tool. If you are brave, simply suck tough each end. If pressure can be sucked though both sides, the valve is bad and needs replacement.
Used in the vacuum system to control the brake booster, HVAC & EVAP systems. If you have idle issues, this may also be faulty on your vehicle. Also, check the vacuum connector hoses. Furthermore, if your line connectors look ‘ok’, they may still need replaced. Before letting the system fail, vacuum check the entire system. You will be able to determine if they are in fact leaking. We use a Mityvac MV8000 tool to test this.
