Scirocco Alignment Specifications

Mk1 & Mk2 Scirocco Alignment Specifications are listed below. These are broken out between 8v and 16v vehicles. Since the weight of the engine is slightly more on the 16v, the front end alignment specs are slightly different. Also below is a conversion chart, in case you or the person performing the alignment has different measurements. Furthermore, most alignment machine have these specs loaded into the machine from the factor. Older machines typically do not.

Because of differences in various alignment machines, different types of measurement readings exist in the field.

As a rule, Toe-in and Camber are given in angular degrees. For example, alignment machines display figures for the Toe-in in fractions of an inch or decimal inches or in millimeters. Additionally, the equivalent angular degrees can easily be obtained from the tables.
